GN Solids Control is pleased to announce the supply of 10 GNLW453D‑VFD large‑bowl decanter centrifuges and 5 GNCD930G vertical cuttings dryer systems for a project in Africa. The package also includes 10 feed pumps, 10 screw conveyors, and supporting skid systems to provide an integrated solution for drilling waste management.
The GNLW453D‑VFD decanter centrifuge is designed for reliable, long‑term operation in demanding solids separation applications. Its duplex stainless steel 2304 bowl, tungsten carbide conveyor wear tiles, and premium SKF bearings help provide durability and reduce maintenance requirements. With a maximum G‑force of up to 3,000 G, the centrifuge supports efficient separation of drilled solids and recovery of drilling fluids. Its PLC and HMI control system enables automated operation.
The GNCD930G vertical cuttings dryer uses centrifugal force to remove liquid from drilled cuttings. With a 930 mm screen bowl and a maximum speed of 900 RPM, the system can achieve up to 420 G of centrifugal force. Replaceable wear components, a specially designed air knife for screen cleaning, and an automatic lubrication system help maintain performance and extend service life. The dryer is available with different screen openings to suit application requirements.
By combining decanter centrifuges, cuttings dryers, feed pumps, and screw conveyors, GN Solids Control provides a coordinated waste management package designed to support drilling fluid recovery, reduce liquid content in discharged cuttings, and improve overall waste handling efficiency. This project further demonstrates GN Solids Control’s capability to supply integrated solids control and waste management equipment for international drilling operations.
